■ Power Save Function
● Standby Mode
All the power is distributed and the machine may be operating or able to start operation
shortly in this mode.
● Sleep Mode
Sleep1
The control panel is OFF and the laser scanner motor (M1) will not rotate even if the control
panel key is pressed. Power supply is the same with standby mode.
Sleep3
3VB all-night power PCB is only distributed.
When the following job is submitted, sleep mode 3 is transferred to the standby mode.
• Print job
• Control panel power switch is pressed.
● AC OFF mode
Main power switch is turned OFF. All the power and the heater controls are OFF.
■ Security Function (Certificate/Secret Key/Password/ PIN)
● Initialze All Data/Settings
Setting method:
Additional Functions > System Settings > Initialize All Data/Settings
List of data to be cleared
• Data saved in BOX/ Advanced Box
• Data saved in Inbox
• Destination data registered in Address Book
• Read mode registered using Send function
• Mode memory registered using Copy/ Box function
• MEAP applications and their license files
• Data saved using MEAP applications
• Password for MEAP SMS (Service Management Service)
(The password is returned to default if any change is made.)
• User authentication information registered by local device authentication via SSO-H (Single
