Installing the operation software in the processor
Notes
• If there is effects data stored in the processor registers, the
operation of installing the software will cause the data to be
destroyed. Before beginning the installation operation, save the
contents of registers to floppy disk.
For details of saving to floppy disk, see the section "Saving
registers contents – SAVE" (page 8-19).
• If using option boards, complete the installation of the option
boards before installing the software. If you add option boards
after installing the software, it is necessary to install the software
again.
To install the operation software for the processor, use the
following procedure.
To install the operation software for both channels 1 and 2, carry
out this procedure twice.

Insert the floppy disk labeled "SYSTEM DISK 2" in the drive.

With the third set of soft key indications shown in the SETUP
& DIAG menu, press F4 (INSTALL) to display the INSTALL
menu.

Press the channel button (CH 1 to CH 4) in the channel
selection section of the control panel for the processor channel
for which you wish to install the software.
The channel button pressed lights green, and this channel
becomes the channel for which the software is installed.

Press F1 (INSTALL).
