Chapter 5 Special Effects Operations
Automatically suppressing graphics displays when an
effect is executed (the auto erase function) –
F6 (AUTO ERASE)
Press F6 (AUTO ERASE), turning it on.
If you execute an effect after making graphics display settings, the
graphics display automatically disappears. This function, however,
can only be used when the effect is executed by the following
methods.
• Pressing the RUN button in the key frame operation section.
• A "Run" mode trigger from the GPI input.
• Reception of a PLAY command from an editor.
After executing the effect, the graphics display is automatically
restored after a time determined by the setting of F7 (RECOVER
TIME).
Setting the time after which the graphics display which
had been deleted by the auto erase function is
automatically restored after completing or abandoning
an effect – F7 (RECOVER TIME)
Press F7 (RECOVER TIME).
Pressing this soft key cycles through the settings in the sequence:
0.5, 3 and 5 seconds.
When F6 (AUTO ERASE) is "OFF", this setting has no effect.
Switching to the GRAPHIC SETUP menu
Press F8 (GRAPHIC SETUP).
