Make the following settings, as required.

Set the edge softness of

This provides a border around a key, or a key which is an outline
only.
This function requires the BKDM-7060 and BKDM-7070 options.
Note
The following effects use the same hardware, and it is therefore
not possible to use more than one of them simultaneously. The
last selected effect is effective.
• Drop shadow (3D)
• Key border
• Glow
• Brick
Parameter settings
Left ("Ofst"): reference level
for "DEPTH" control (–100
to +100%)
Center ("Gain"): gain for
shadow edge softness
(–100 to +100%)
Right ("Soft"): shadow edge
softness (0 to 100%)
The left and center knobs are
only effective when you
selected "DEPTH".
