a) When F2 (GRAPHIC MODE) is set to select "Default", the indications for F3
(LOCAL AXIS) to F8 (GRID) do not appear.
The following are some of the operations carried out in this menu.
Toggling the graphics display on and off –
F1 (GRAPHIC)
Press F1 (GRAPHIC).
When this is "ON", the following settings for F2 to F8 are enabled.
Switching between the default settings and user
settings for the graphics display – F2 (GRAPHIC MODE)
Press F2 (GRAPHIC MODE).
Pressing this soft key toggles between "Default" and "User
Defined". When "Default" is selected, the graphics screen in the
case that F3 (LOCAL AXIS), F5 (AXIS NAME) and F6
(CHANNEL ID) only are "ON" is displayed. To make your own
selection, select "User Defined".
Displaying the local coordinate axes – F3 (LOCAL AXIS)
Press F3 (LOCAL AXIS), turning it on.
This displays three-dimensionally the coordinate axes (x, y, z)
along which the wire frame can be moved and about which it can
be rotated.
In normal video modifying operations the wire frame and
coordinate axes all move in unison. However, pressing the AXIS
LOC button in the transformation operation section and moving
the trackball and Z-ring allows you to move the coordinate axes
alone.
