Advanced shadow mode settings
Selecting the drop shadow color – F3 (FLAT COLOR)
and F4 (HUE ROT)
Select the drop shadow color in the same way as a background
color.
For details, see the section "BKGD Settings" (page 5-13).
Moving the drop shadow in three-dimensional space –
F2 (SHADOW MODE)
Press F2 (SHADOW MODE) and select "3D" to enter advanced
shadow mode.
For details of the setting operations, continue to the next section
"Advanced shadow mode settings."
Use these settings when manipulating a drop shadow in three-
dimensional space.
In the DROP SHADOW menu, press F2 (SHADOW MODE) to
enter advanced shadow mode. The soft key indications change as
follows.

Soft key indications in advanced shadow mode
The following are some of the operations carried out in advanced
shadow mode.
Manipulating the drop shadow in three-dimensional
space – F4 (LIGHT LOC), F5 (SHADOW LOC) and F6
(SHADOW ROT)
Press one of F4 to F6, turning it on, then use the trackball and Z-
ring to adjust the position of the light source or the projection
plane of the drop shadow.
• F4 (LIGHT LOC): set the position of the light source. (See the
next section "Setting the position of the light source".)
• F5 (SHADOW LOC): set the position of the projection plane of
the drop shadow.
• F6 (SHADOW ROT): set the amount of rotation of the
projection plane of the drop shadow.
