A swap operation is not possible if either of the registers is
write-protected.

Enter the number of the other register whose contents are to be
swapped using the numeric keypad, and press the ENTER
button. Alternatively, click on the register number displayed
on the screen, using the mouse.
The contents of the two registers are swapped.
Write-protecting the contents of specified registers –
F5 (LOCK)
Use the following procedure.

Press F5 (LOCK).
The legend "LOCK" appears in the numeric keypad area.

Enter the number of the first register whose contents are to be
write-protected using the numeric keypad, and press the
ENTER button. Alternatively, click on the register number
displayed on the screen, using the mouse.
The entered register number appears in the numeric keypad
area followed by a dash. (e.g. "LOCK 12 –")

Enter the number of the last register whose contents are to be
write-protected using the numeric keypad, and press the
ENTER button. Alternatively, click on the register number
displayed on the screen, using the mouse.
This write-protects the contents of the registers in the specified
range.
To write-protect only the register whose number was
entered in step 2
In step 3, without entering a register number, simply press the
ENTER button.
