Chapter 5 Special Effects Operations
This provides the effect of wrapping the image around a cylinder.
With the fourth set of soft key indications shown in the
NONLINEAR menu, press F3 (CYLINDER) to display the
CYLINDER menu.

CYLINDER menu soft key indications
• F4 (BACK COLOR) to F8 (EXT VIDEO) are only displayed
when the BKDM-3050 option is installed.
• F7 (MIX COLOR) further requires the BKDM-3040 option.
• F8 (EXT VIDEO) is only effective in component mode.
The following are some of the operations carried out in this menu.
Applying the cylinder effect – F1 (CYLINDER)
Use the following procedure.

Press F1 (CYLINDER), turning it on.

Adjust the parameters for the following item.
Item Setting
"Shape" Cylinder shape
BACK FLAT HUE
COLOR COLOR ROT
Knob adjustments of parameters
Left ("Rad"): cylinder radius (0 to 100%)
