Selecting from the fourth set of soft key indications
Function key
F1 (PAGETURN)
F2 (ROLL)
F3 (CYLINDER)
F4 (SPHERE)
F6 (MULTI MIRROR)
F7 (MELT)
F8 (MORE)
Note that in this manual the term "overlap nonlinear effects" is
used to refer to the PAGETURN, ROLL, CYLINDER and
SPHERE effects.
This provides a wavy effect on the image.
With the first set of soft key indications shown in the
NONLINEAR menu, press F1 (WAVE) to display the WAVE
menu.

The following are some of the operations carried out in this menu.
Toggling the wave effect on and off – F1 (WAVE)
Press F1 (WAVE).
When this is on, the following settings are enabled.
Function
Provide the effect of a page
turning.
Provide the effect of rolling
the image up like a scroll.
Provide the effect of wrapping
the image around a cylinder.
Provide the effect of wrapping
the image around a sphere.
Alternate images and mirror
images.
Deform the image as though
part of it were melting.
Switch to the first set of soft
key indications, as shown on
page 5-87.
