Chapter 5 Special Effects Operations
Deforming the back of the turning page – F4 (TRANS
BACK COLOR)
When the "MODE" item is set to "FRONT & BACK" or
"BACK", pressing F4 (TRANS BACK COLOR), turning it on,
means that the video image forming the back of the page is
deformed in line with the curved portion of the page turn. Only
the image provided by selecting F7 (MIX COLOR) or F8 (EXT
VIDEO) can be deformed in this way.
Notes
• When F4 (TRANS BACK COLOR) is set to ON, the WIPE
CROP (see page 5-29), MODIFY MASK (see page 5-86), and
SPOTLIGHTING (see page 5-129) effects are all automatically
turned off.
• The image on the back of the page is reversed horizontally and
vertically. To restore it to the original orientation, turn the
"INPUT INVERT" function on (page 6-11).
• It is not possible to use the functions in the PICTURE MODIFY
menu (page 5-60) or VIDEO MODIFY menu (page 5-79) to
modify the back of the page.
• It is not possible to apply a border to the back of the page.
