Top menu display
Selection operation
This section describes how to use various effects on the video
signal, such as converting it to a negative signal.
The video signal effects are selected from the VIDEO MODIFY
menu.

VIDEO MODIFY menu soft key indications
• F5 (MASK) is effective only when the BKDM-3040 option is
installed.
• F6 (SKETCH) is effective only when the BKDM-7041 option is
installed.
In the VIDEO MODIFY menu, press the required function key as
shown in the following table to select the effect.

Function
Produce a negative or
posterized image.
Produce various monochrome
image effects.
Adjust the contrast of the
image.
Divide up the image into a
matrix of rectangles, and
average the signal within each
rectangle.
Mask any of the effects
obtained with F1 to F4, using
a wipe pattern.
Make the video appear like a
line drawing, watercolor, or oil
painting.
