Chapter 5 Special Effects Operations
Restricting the area of application of the glow effect
Set the parameters for the following items.
Item Setting
"Glow Horizontal limits
mask H" of masking area
"Glow Vertical limits of
mask V" masking area
Applying a color to the glowing portion – F3 (FLAT
COLOR) to F6 (EXT VIDEO)
You can use any of the following functions to apply a color to the
glowing portion.
Function key Function
F3 (FLAT Any single hue
COLOR)
F4 (HUE ROT) Progressively changing
hue
F5 (MIX COLOR) A "color mix"
F6 (EXT VIDEO)
An external video signal
(D1 systems only)
Knob adjustments of parameters
Left ("Left"): left edge position (–4.2 to
+4.2)
Center ("Right"): right edge position (–4.2
to +4.2)
Left ("Top"): top edge position (–3.2 to
+3.2)
Center ("Bttm"): bottom edge position
(–3.2 to +3.2)
