Adjust the "Duration" parameters as follows.
• Left knob ("Dur"): interval between freeze frames (0 to 255
frames)
• Center knob ("Live"): proportion of the interval between two
successive freeze frames for which the video is run (0 to
100%)
Defocusing the afterimage part – F3 (DEFOCUS)
Use the following procedure.

Press F3 (DEFOCUS), turning it on.

Adjust the "DEFOCUS" parameters as follows.
• Left knob ("Vid"): degree of defocusing of afterimage video
signal (0 to 100%)
• Center knob ("Key"): degree of defocusing of afterimage key
signal (0 to 100%)
Deleting the afterimage remaining in memory at each
key frame – F4 (RESUME RECUR)
Press F4 (RESUME RECUR), turning it on.
Each time the effect passes a key frame, the recursive memory is
cleared, before writing the new afterimage.
Changing the manner of superimposition of the moving
video and freeze frames (afterimages) – F5 (PRIORITY)
Press F5 (PRIORITY).
This cycles through the settings "Over", "Under" and "Mix",
changing the manner of superimposition.
Over: the moving video is on top.
Under: the moving video is underneath.
Mix: the moving video and freeze frames are mixed.
Selecting the stroboscope timing – F6 (TIMING)
Press F6 (TIMING), and select either of the following.
Frame: freeze at frame intervals.
Field: freeze at field intervals.
