Chapter 8 Effect Utilities
Locking snapshots to prevent overwriting or deletion –
F5 (LOCK)
Use the following procedure.
1
Press F5 (LOCK).

Use the numeric keypad to enter the first register number
which you want to lock, and press the ENTER button.
Alternatively click the cursor on the required number on the
screen.

Use the numeric keypad to enter the last register number
which you want to lock, and press the ENTER button.
Alternatively click the cursor on the required number on the
screen. To lock a single snapshot, press the ENTER button
without entering a number.
This locks all snapshots in the specified range.
Releasing locked snapshots – F6 (UNLOCK)
Use the following procedure.

Press F6 (UNLOCK).

Use the numeric keypad to enter the first register number
which you want to unlock, and press the ENTER button.
Alternatively click the cursor on the required number on the
screen.

Use the numeric keypad to enter the last register number
which you want to unlock, and press the ENTER button.
Alternatively click the cursor on the required number on the
screen. To unlock a single snapshot, press the ENTER button
without entering a number.
This unlocks all snapshots in the specified range.
Returning to the state before a snapshot was recalled
When you recall a snapshot, the existing state of the working
buffer is saved temporarily in a register known as "LAST X". To
recall this, press F7 (LAST X). Pressing F7 repeatedly
interchanges the contents of the working buffer and the "LAST X"
register.
