Align the cursor with the color matte to copy.

Hold down the SEL/FINE button to change the cursor from an
arrow to a square, and use the trackball to move the cursor to
the destination color matte name.

Release the SEL/FINE button.
This carries out the copy, and the cursor returns to an arrow
shape.
Copying a color with the mouse

Align the cursor with the color matte to copy.

Hold down the left mouse button, and drag the cursor to the
destination color matte name, then release the button.
Setting a color matte

Use F1 (˘) to F4 (÷) to select the color matte with the
cursor.
The source color matte name changes to green, and its
parameters appear in the "Color Matte" item.

Adjust the color parameters.
• Left knob ("Lum"): luminance (0 to 100%)
• Center knob ("Sat"): saturation (0 to 100%)
• Right knob ("Hue"): hue (0 to 359.99˚)
Grabbing a color from video input - F7 (GRAB MARKER)
Notes
• The video signal captured is clipped to 100% luminance and
100% saturation.
• It is not possible to use the color grabber while the beveled edge
or sketch function is on.
• Since the color grabber uses the same memory as the frame
memory (see the next page), using either of these functions
overwrites the memory.
