Chapter 10 Setup Operations
This menu makes system settings such as the system clock and
operating mode.
With the third set of soft key indications shown in the SETUP &
DIAG menu, press F1 (SYSTEM) to display the SYSTEM menu.

F3 (SIGNAL LINES) and F4 (SCREEN) are effective only in a
component system.
The following are some of the operations carried out in this menu.
Setting the date – F1 (DATE)
To set the date, use the following procedure.

Press F1 (DATE).
The current date setting appears in the numeric keypad area
(see page 4-5).

Using the numeric keypad, enter the date in the American
format as mm.dd.yy.
For example, to set the date to January 15, 1996, enter 1.15.96.

Press the ENTER button in the numeric keypad section.
This confirms the date setting on the menu screen.
