Channel Number Assignments – 701
This menu assigns the physical channel numbers on the processor
to the logical channel numbers used by the control panel and menu
operations. It also allows you to select whether a particular
channel is included in the global channel or not.
With the first set of soft key indications shown in the SETUP &
DIAG menu, press F1 (CH ASSIGN) to display the CHANNEL
ASSIGN menu.
An asterisk in boxes in the menu to the right of the legend "Comm.
Status" show the existence of a processor connected to the control
panel.

The following are some of the operations carried out in this menu.
Assigning a physical channel – F4 (PHYSICAL CH)
Use the following procedure.

Use F1 (¿) or F2 (÷) to select the logical channel number
on the processor (indicated as "Logical CH")

Press F4 (PHYSICAL CH).

Enter the physical channel number (01 to 08) to be assigned to
this logical channel, using the numeric keypad.
This assigns the physical channel number.
