Chapter 6 Input/Output Signal Operations
When using a component system, the following settings are
possible for the EXT/C input (the input to the EXT/C connector of
the COMBINER INPUTS) and the EXT/C output (the output from
the EXT/C connector of the COMBINER OUTPUTS).
• TBC window center position
• Input phase
• Output source
• Output phase
In the IN/OUT menu, press F7 (EXT VIDEO IN/OUT) to display
the EXT VIDEO IN/OUT menu.

EXT VIDEO IN/OUT menu soft key indications
The following are some of the operations carried out in this menu.
Use the following procedure.

Depending on the phase difference of the input signal, press
F1 (TBC CENTER) to change the TBC window center
position setting.
Pressing F1 cycles through the settings: 0H n 0.5H n 1H
n 1.5H.
When the input signal is from the AUX BUS of a Sony DVS-
series digital video switcher, normally select 1H.

Turn the left knob ("Phas") to adjust the input phase. (–8.03
to +8.03 µs)
