Chapter 8 Effect Utilities
Use the following procedure to delete a file from a floppy disk.

Insert the floppy disk containing the file to be deleted in the
floppy disk drive.

Press F2 (FUNCTION), to display "DELETE" in green.
The indicator to the left of the "DELETE" item lights, and a
message appears as follows.
Select files and press [Cancel]/[OK]

Now carry out steps 4 and 6 in the section "Loading a file –
LOAD" (page 8-20).
Use the following procedure to write-protect (lock) a file on a
floppy disk.

Insert the floppy disk containing the file to be write-protected
in the floppy disk drive.

Press F2 (FUNCTION), to display "LOCK" in green.
The indicator to the left of the "LOCK" item lights, and a
message appears as follows.
Select files and press [Cancel]/[OK]

Now carry out steps 4 and 6 in the section "Loading a file –
LOAD" (page 8-20).
When a file is write-protected, it is not possible to write to it, nor
to copy to it, nor to delete it.
