Adjust the "BLUR" parameters as follows.
Item Setting
"Video" Apply blurring to
the video
"Video Y" Apply blurring to
the luminance
component of the
video signal.
"Video C" Apply blurring to
the chrominance
component of the
video signal.
"Key" Apply blurring to
the key
Applying a wipe mask to the blurring effect (for video
only) – F7 (BLUR MASK)
Use the following procedure.

Press F7 (BLUR MASK), turning it on.

Press F8 (MASK) to display the MASK menu, and set the
mask parameters.
For details, see the section "MASK Settings" (page 5-85).
Knob adjustments of parameters
Left ("H"): degree of blurring horizontally

Center ("V"): degree of blurring vertically
(***)
Right ("All"): degree of blurring horizontally
and vertically (***)
(The settings are reflected in the separate
Video Y and Video C settings.)
Left ("H"): degree of blurring horizontally
(0 to 100%)
Center ("V"): degree of blurring vertically
(0 to 100%)
Right ("All"): degree of blurring horizontally
