Use the same operation as for the background settings to select
the basic cast signal to be applied to the image.
For details see the section "BKGD settings" (page 5-13).

Adjust the "SEPIA" parameters as follows.
• Left knob ("Y"): mix amount of "sepia" luminance signal (0
to 100%)
• Center knob ("C"): mix amount of "sepia" chrominance
signal (0 to 100%)
• Right knob ("All"): mix amount of "sepia" luminance and
chrominance signals (***)
(The setting is reflected in the separate luminance and
chrominance settings.)
Obtaining a monochrome signal – F7 (MONO)
Press F7 (MONO), turning it on.
The color image changes to monochrome (black and white if no
"sepia" cast is applied).
Note
Turning the "sepia" function on, automatically turns off F1
(POSTER) and F2 (SOLAR) in the POSTER & NEGA menu.
This function adjusts the contrast of the image.
In the VIDEO MODIFY menu, press F3 (CONTRAST) to display
the CONTRAST menu.
