Deleting key frames

Chapter 7 Key Frame Effects
Normally, regardless of the position of the edit point, when you
delete a key frame the total duration of the effect changes. If you
do not wish the deletion to change the total duration of the effect,
first press the CNST DUR button in the duration setting section,
turning it on.
Use the following procedure to delete a key frame (or key frames).
1
Select the active channels and the reference channel.
2
Stop the effect on the required edit point.
This operation is not necessary if you are going to specify a
range of key frames to delete.
When the edit point is on a key frame, that key frame will be
deleted. If the edit point is intermediate between two key
frames, the immediately previous key frame will be deleted.
3
Press the KF EDIT ENABL button, turning it on.
4
To delete more than one key frame, use either of the following
methods to specify the range to be deleted.
• To specify the range by key frame numbers, press the MOD
ALL button, input the starting key frame number, press the
ENTER button, input the ending key frame number, and
press the ENTER button.
• To delete all key frames from a specified key frame to the
end of the effect, press the MOD ALL button, input the
starting key frame number, press the ENTER button, enter a
period ".", and press the ENTER button.
5
Press the DEL button.
This carries out the deletion.
