Selecting the image to insert in a side face – F6 (BRICK
VIDEO)
Use the following procedure.

In the BRICK menu, press F6 (BRICK VIDEO).
The BRICK VIDEO menu appears.

BRICK VIDEO menu soft key indications
F4 (MIX COLOR) and F8 (COLOR MIX) are only effective
when the BKDM-3040 option is installed.

Press F1 (SIDE SELECT), and select the side (Side A or Side
B).

Press one of F2 to F6, and select the image to insert in the side
face.
• F2 (FLAT COLOR): single-hue color matte
• F3 (HUE ROT): progressively changing hue color matte
• F4 (MIX COLOR): "mix color"
• F5 (EXT VIDEO): external video signal
• F6 (INPUT VIDEO): input image
• F7 (FREEZE VIDEO): image stored in brick frame memory
With F2 to F5, you can make the same settings as described in
"BKGD Settings" (page 5-13).
If you select one of F5 to F7 for a side face, select one of F2 to
F4 for the other side face.
Freezing the image in a side face – F8 (BRICK CAPTION)
In the BRICK VIDEO menu, press F5 (EXT VIDEO) or F6
(INPUT VIDEO) and select the required input image, then press
F8 (BRICK CAPTION) to store the input image in brick frame
memory.
You can store only one frame of image in brick frame memory.
When a new image is stored in brick frame memory, the
previously stored image is erased.
