Restricting the wavy modulation to a particular part of
the image – F4 (RANGE)
Press F4 (RANGE) to toggle on and off the restriction, using the
current settings.
For the range setting procedure, see the section "Setting the wave
range" on the next page.
Selecting the waveform – F7 (WAVE FORM)
Use the following procedure.

Press F7 (WAVE FORM).
The WAVE FORM menu appears.

To select the modulating waveform in the horizontal direction,
press F2 (FORM H).
Pressing F2 (FORM H) cycles through the following
possibilities.
SINE PARAB
CUBIC

To select the modulating waveform in the vertical direction,
press F3 (FORM V).
This provides the same set of possibilities as in step 2.

Adjust the "Randomness" parameters as follows.
• Left knob ("H"): degree of randomness horizontally (0 to
100%)
• Center knob ("V"): degree of randomness vertically (0 to
100%)
• Right knob ("All"): degree of randomness horizontally and
vertically (***)
