3 EXIT button
Pressing this button exits from the current
menu, and returns one layer higher up the
menu tree.
When there is a pop-up window on the
screen, pressing this button selects
"CANCEL".
4 Top menu selection section
These fourteen buttons are marked with
the names and page numbers of the top
menus in each of the menu groups.
For example, the 10 BKGD & EDGE
button identifies the BKGD EDGE menu
(page number 10), which has as submenus
pages 11, 12 and so forth.
Pressing one of these buttons selects the
most recently accessed of the menus in the
corresponding menu group. Immediately
pressing the button once more selects the
top menu of the menu group.
It is also possible to set up the system so
that you can select a desired top menu by
pressing the corresponding top menu
selection button only once.
5 ˘and≥ buttons
These buttons are used to select the line of
a menu screen on which items are to be
selected or parameters adjusted.
6 LAST MENU button
Pressing this button recalls the menu
displayed immediately previously in the
active window.
7 FREZE (freeze) button
Pressing this button instantaneously
freezes the input video. The video image
remains frozen until you press the button
again.
The freeze mode (frame or field, and video
or key) can be selected in the setup menu
(see page 10-15).
Note that toggling the freeze state on or off
is not reflected in the key frame data, and
also that pressing the CLR WORK BUFF
button does not release the freeze state.
8 Soft knobs
These knobs adjust the values of a
maximum of three parameters displayed in
green on a menu screen.
