SONY ELECTRONICS INC. ("SONY") warrants this Part against defects in material or workmanship as follows:
Sony will supply new or rebuilt replacement parts, or issue a credit towards the purchase thereof, for defective Parts for a period of ninety (90) days from the
date of shipment or, if installation of the Part is performed exclusively by Sony, from the date of installation, exceptions are as follows:

replacement provided during first 500 hours. Thereafter, credit towards replacement
prorated as follows:
Credit = Current Assembly Price x (1,500 Hours - Actual Head Usage Hours)

Six (6) months or 1,000 operating hours, whichever occurs first. Full credit during the
first 100 hours. Prorated on a linear scale thereafter.
Credit = Current Assembly Price x (1,000 Hours - Actual Head Usage Hours)

Ninety (90) days or 500 operating hours, whichever occurs first. Full credit toward
replacement provided during the first 50 hours. Thereafter credit towards replacement is
prorated.
Credit = Current Assembly Price x (500 Hours - Actual Head Usage Hours)
One (1) year
One (1) year or 1,000 operating hours, whichever occurs first.
One (1) year or 2,000 operating hours, whichever occurs first. Full credit during the first
1,000 hours. Prorated on a linear scale thereafter.
Credit = Current Assembly Price x (2,000 Hours - Actual Head Usage Hours)

Two(2) years as follows: Full credit towards replacement during the first twelve months.
Thereafter, credit towards replacement is prorated:

prorated as follows:
