SEPIA & MONO (Monochrome) Settings – 42
Producing a negative picture – F5 (NEGA Y) and F6
(NEGA C)
Use the following procedure.
1
Press F5 (NEGA Y), turning it on, to invert the luminance
signal.
2
Press F6 (NEGA C), turning it on, to invert the chrominance
signal.
F5 (NEGA Y) and F6 (NEGA C) may both be on
simultaneously.
Note
Turning on F1 (POSTER) or F2 (SOLAR) automatically disables
the "sepia" function described in the next section.
The "sepia" effect applies a cast of a particular hue (not
necessarily sepia) over the entire video image. The monochrome
effect makes the image monochrome.
In the VIDEO MODIFY menu, press F2 (SEPIA & MONO) to
display the SEPIA & MONO menu.

SEPIA & MONO menu soft key indications
• F4 (MIX COLOR) and F8 (COLOR MIX) are effective only
when the BKDM-3040 option is installed.
• F5 (EXT VIDEO) is effective only when the BKDM-3050 option
is installed in component mode.
The following are some of the operations carried out in this menu.
Applying a cast – F1 (SEPIA) to F5 (EXT VIDEO)
Use the following procedure.

Press F1 (SEPIA), turning it on.
