Chapter 10 Setup Operations
This menu adjusts various functions of the trackball and Z-ring.
With the first set of soft key indications shown in the SETUP &
DIAG menu, press F3 (TRACK BALL) to display the TRACK
BALL menu.

MOVEMNT MODE MOVEMNT
The following are some of the operations carried out in this menu.
Selecting the speed of movement – F1 (3D MOVEMNT)
There are three options for the speed of image movement in
response to trackball or Z-ring operation, selected by pressing F1
(3D MOVEMNT) as follows.
×1: Standard speed
×2: Double speed
×4: Quadruple speed
Selecting the effect of the SEL/FINE button – F2 (FINE
MODE)
There are three options for the degree of fineness of control
provided by holding down the SEL/FINE button during a trackball
or Z-ring operation, selected by pressing F2 (FINE MODE) as
follows.
/2: 1/2 of movement when SEL/FINE button is not held down
/4: 1/4 of movement when SEL/FINE button is not held down
/8: 1/8 of movement when SEL/FINE button is not held down
