Selecting the spotlight pattern from the menu display –
F2 (˘) and F3 (≥)
Use F2 (˘) and F3 (≥) to align the cursor with the required
pattern.
Depending on the selection you make, the display of the currently
selected pattern changes.
To select a pattern which is not in fact displayed on the screen,
select "MORE" (48), and to create a polygonal shape, select
"POLY" (49).
For details of the procedure to be followed after selecting
"MORE" (48) or "POLY" (49), see the immediately following
section "Selecting a pattern not displayed on the screen" or the
subsequent section "Creating a polygonal shape".

Use the following procedure.

Use F2 (˘) and F3 (≥) to align the cursor with "MORE" (48).
The display of the currently selected pattern changes, and also
the "Shape" item appears.
Example of display for "Shape" item: "Shape Ptrn 2"

Turn the left knob ("Ptrn") to select the pattern number in the
range 1 to 16.
Creating a polygonal shape
It is possible to create a regular polygon of from 3 to 15 sides. It is
also possible to accentuate the vertices to make star shapes of
varying degrees.
