Carry out the following settings as required.
WIPE CROP EDGE settings

F1 (WIPE CROP)
Switch wipe cropping
on or off.
F2 (WIPE BORDER)
Apply a border to the
wipe pattern.
F3 (BORDER SOFT)
Soften the border.
F4 (FLAT COLOR)
Select any uniform
color for border.
F5 (HUE ROT)
Make fine
adjustments to the
border color.
F6 (MIX COLOR)
Use a composite
border color formed
using the COLOR
MIX function.
F7 (EXT VIDEO)
Insert an external
signal into the border.
F8 (WIPE PATTERN) Displays the WIPE
CROP PATTERN
menu (see page 5-36).
Parameter settings
Left ("Wdth"): border width
(0 to 100%)
When F2 (WIPE
BORDER) is "OFF":
Left ("Soft"): degree of
softening of edge (0
to 100%)
When F2 (WIPE
BORDER) is "ON":
Left ("Innr"): degree of
softening of inner
edge (0 to 100%)
Center ("Outr"): degree of
softening of outer
edge (0 to 100%)
Right ("All"): degree of
softening of inner and
outer edges (***)
