Selecting soft key items
Selecting the menu in the active window
The soft key indications comprise eight boxes, which show
functions or menus selectable from the active window. Use either
of the following methods to select a soft key option.
• Click on the box.
• Press the function key of the corresponding number.
Some soft key indications have an indicator in the upper left corner
of the box. For these indications, when the function is enabled, or
on, the indicator turns red.
You can use any of the following techniques to bring up a required
menu in the active window.
• To access a menu shown in one of the soft key indications, click
on the box, or press the corresponding function key.
• Press a button in the top menu selection section.
• Press the PAGE button in the numeric keypad section, then enter
the page number from the numeric keypad. Using this method
you can directly access any menu, even in a different menu
group.
• Click on the 4 or $ indication to step through the menus by page
number.
