Basic Procedure

The following procedure covers the steps from generating a key
frame to carrying out the effect. See the pages shown in
parenthesis for detailed descriptions of the operations.
Recalling the register holding the effect (page 7-4)
When creating a new effect, recall an empty register, otherwise,
recall the register holding the effect to be edited.
Selecting the channel for the operation (page 7-6)
Select both the channels to be operated on and the reference
channel.
Creating and editing the key frames (page 7-7)
You can insert, delete and amend key frames, to create the key
frames required for the effect.
Time settings (page 7-16)
You can control the overall time from the beginning to the end
of the effect, and the time intervals between successive key
frames.
Path settings (page 7-18)
These determine the way in which the interpolation between
key frames is carried out.
Effect execution (page 7-27)
The continuously varying image appears on the main monitor
screen, with the key frames interpolated according to the
settings.
Effect saving (page 7-28)
You can save the completed effect in a register.
