Source Selector Settings – 711
These settings determine whether or not a source selector is
connected, and if so specify the type.
It is possible to connect the following devices as source selectors
to the DME-7000.
• DVS-2000-series/6000/6000C/8000/8000C/7000 digital video
switchers
• DVS-V1201 or BVS-V1201 routing switcher
• BKDM-5080 source selector
With the second set of soft key indications shown in the SETUP &
DIAG menu, press F1 (SOURCE SELECTOR) to display the
SOURCE SELECTOR menu.

SOURCE SELECTOR menu (when using a BKDM-5080)
The following operations are carried out in this menu.
Setting when not using a source selector
When no source selector is connected, press F1 (A/B), turning it
on.
This allows the signals connected to the A and B inputs on the rear
panel of the processor to be used directly as video and key signals.
Using a digital video switcher as source selector
When using a digital video switcher (DVS-2000-series, DVS-
6000/6000C, DVS-7000, or DVS-8000/8000C) as source selector,
press F2 (SW'ER).
When F2 (SW'ER) is selected, there is no need to set a unit
address.
