Basic Operations in a Parameter Setting Screen

Channel selection
The channel indication on the screen is linked to the selection
made in the channel selection section of the control panel;
changing the selection in one place is always reflected in the other.
Use the following procedure to make a channel selection by a
menu operation.
For details of channel selection using the buttons in the channel
selection section, see page 2-10.
Selecting a single channel
Click on the desired channel indication.

The channel number on which you just clicked turns green: this
makes the channel active, and at the same time it becomes the
reference channel. The most recently clicked channel is always the
reference channel.
Other channels indicated in white are inactive.
Selecting more than one channel
• Using the control panel:

Align the cursor with the indication for the channel you wish
to make the reference channel, and press and hold down the
SEL/FINE button.
The selected channel indication turns green, and this becomes
the reference channel.

With the SEL/FINE button still held down, turn the trackball
to align the cursor with the indication for the other channel
you wish to make active, then release the SEL/FINE button.
The second selected channel indication turns red, indicating
that it is also active.
