Displaying the REGISTER NAME menu
Applying a new name to a register
It is possible to change the name of a register to any string of up to
eight alphanumeric characters. By default, every one of the 99
registers is given the name, "SNAPSHOT", "SETUP" "EFFECT".

Display the EFFECT UTILITY top menu.

Press F2 (REGISTER NAME).
The REGISTER NAME menu appears.

REGISTER NAME menu soft key indications
The following is a typical operation in this menu.

Press F2 (FUNCTION), to display "RENAME" in green.
The indicator to the left of the "RENAME" item lights, and a
message appears as follows.
Select registers and press [Cancel]/[OK]
The soft key indication for F8 also changes to "OK."

Use F3 (˘) and F4 (≥) to display the required register
number in green, and then press F5 (SELECT). Alternatively,
click on the register number displayed on the screen, using the
mouse. To select all of the registers, press F6 (ALL).
A blue bar appears attached to the register number.
Repeat step 2 as necessary, if you wish to rename more than
one register.
