Inspection, wear on the guide ring
The procedure below details how to inspect the piston rod for wear on the guide ring.

Action
1. Move axis 2 to a position where the
balancing device is in a horizontal
position.
2.
DANGER!
Turn off all electric power, hydraulic
and pneumatic pressure supplies to
the robot!
3. Check the guide ring for wear.
Replace if necessary.
4.
NOTE!
If there is a risk of metallic contact
between the piston rod and the end
cover, the guide ring must be
replaced!
