2. Using Special Tool 8902A (2), install a new torque
converter hub seal.
3. Install the torque converter. (Refer to 21 - TRANS-
MISSION/TRANSAXLE/AUTOMATIC
TORQUE CONVERTER - INSTALLATION).
SHIFT INTERLOCK SOLENOID
DESCRIPTION
The shift interlock solenoid is not serviced separately. If the shift interlock solenoid becomes inoperable, the shift
mechanism must be replaced.
