When Monitored and Set Condition
• When Monitored: Always monitored with system active at each ignition cycle.
• Set Condition: This code is set whenever Transmission Control Module (TCM) senses an internal error. If the
Internal Controller DTC is set with any Solenoid DTCs, repair the Solenoid DTCs first, erase all DTCs, then
verify the Internal Controller DTC sets again before replacing the TCM.
TRANSMISSION CONTROL MODULE
For a complete Transmission Control Module Circuit Diagram, (Refer to 21 - TRANSMISSION/TRANSAXLE/AUTO-
MATIC - NAG1 - SCHEMATICS AND DIAGRAMS).
Diagnostic Test

TRANSMISSION CONTROL MODULE
The Transmission Control Module is reporting internal errors and must
be replaced.
View repair.
Repair
Replace the Transmission Control Module. (Refer to 8 -
ELECTRICAL/ELECTRONIC
TRANSMISSION CONTROL MODULE - REMOVAL).
Perform NAG1 TRANSMISSION VERIFICATION TEST.
