POSITIVE CRANKCASE VENTILATION (PCV) SYSTEM
PCV AIR INLET FILTER REMOVAL
NOTE: Perform the air inlet filter maintenance at
the intervals specified in the Maintenance
Schedule.
The polyester, nonwoven felt P C V air filter is
located in the filter retainer in the air cleaner
housing.
Rotate the retainer (1) and remove the retainer
and filter (2) from the air cleaner housing.
PCV AIR INLET FILTER CLEANING AND
INSPECTION

Replace or clean the filter and retainer in
kerosene.
PCV AIR INLET FILTER INSTALLATION
Install the filter and retainer in the air cleaner
housing.
