Parameter descriptions
7.329 (ID 3030) Input Control
Location in the menu: P3.15.5.1
Use this parameter to set the encoder input control word. Select single-ended or active low signaling from input A, B, Z, or M.
7.330 (ID 3031) Input AB Swap
Location in the menu: P3.15.5.2
Use this parameter to interchange input A and B for the encoder and thus change the nominal encoder direction.
7.331 (ID 3032) Encoder Debounce Time
Location in the menu: P3.15.5.3
Use this parameter to set the debounce time (noise/error filter) applied to the encoder inputs A, B, and Z.
7.332 (ID 3033) Marker Debounce Time
Location in the menu: P3.15.5.4
Use this parameter to set the debounce time (noise/error filter) applied to the encoder marker input M.
7.333 (ID 3034) Marker Event Mode
Location in the menu: P3.15.5.5
Use this parameter to set the marker event source for encoder channel A.

7.335 (ID 3036) Resolution Prescale
Location in the menu: P3.15.5.7
Use this parameter to prescale the internal resolution. The function divides the encoder internal resolution by an integral value.
7.336 (ID 3037) Hysteresis Filter Prescale
Location in the menu: P3.15.5.8
Use this parameter to set the hysteresis prescale function. The function uses a subset of an internal position counter to determine a
direction change and to supply a pulse/heartbeat signal.
7.337 (ID 3038) Encoder Resolution
Location in the menu: P3.15.5.9
Use this parameter to set the native resolution or line count of the encoder.
7.338 (ID 3039) Motor Pole Pairs
Location in the menu: P3.15.5.10
Use this parameter to set the motor pole pair number. The number is used to calculate the electrical frequency of the encoder.
7.339 (ID 3040) Offset Mode
Location in the menu: P3.15.5.11
Use this parameter to set the encoder to position or angular offset mode.
7.340 (ID 3041) Manual Offset
Location in the menu: P3.15.5.12
Use this parameter to set the manual position or angular offset of the encoder.
7.341 (ID 3042) Filter Time Constant
Location in the menu: P3.15.5.13
Use this parameter to set the Filter Time Constant frequency for the encoder. The function filters noise from the encoder signal to
make sure it does not affect the speed control.
