Z Stage Belt Tension

Tools and Materials Required
• 7/64-inch open end wrench
• 3/16-inch hex key
• 5/32-inch hex key
Procedure
1.
Remove the lower, rear panel.
2.
Open the top door. This will disable the drive motors.
3.
Zero the belt tension gauge. (See
The gauge can be rotated 90 degrees from its normal orientation to
make it easier to view.
4.
Place the gauge on the Z belt midway between the two lead screw pulleys.
• Tension fixture pins must be on flat side of belt, plunger must be on
