System Power Down/Power Up

System Power Down

Warning: Even when the system is disconnected from the power
source, the system may contain hazardous voltages. Use extreme
caution when working on electrical components.
Procedure
1.
Press the 'Power Off' button (red button) on system front panel.
2.
Wait for the system to complete the cooling cycle (approximately 5 to 10 minutes). The
display will show; "It is now safe to turn off the UPS".
3.
Switch the UPS circuit breaker to the Off position (accessed from back of the system at
the lower right side).
4.
Place the main power breaker in the Off position (accessed from back of the system at the
lower right side).
5.
Power down the UPS:

For a 5125 UPS systems - Power down the UPS by pressing and
holding the middle button on right side of the UPS panel (accessed
from back of the system). Keep the button pressed until the fans
turn off (the UPS will stop 'beeping') in approximately 4 to 5
seconds.
