Head Filament Presence Detect Switch Adjustment

Tools and Materials Required
• Standard (inch) set of Allen wrenches
Procedure
1.
Unload both Model and Support filament from the head.
2.
Disconnect the filament tubing (model or support) from the fitting at the head.
3.
Insert a 0.050" Allen wrench through the filament tubing fitting and switch. Verify the
switch roller is making contact with the flat side of the Allen wrench. (See
Filament tube fitting
4.
From the 360mc/400mc Sensors States menu, verify the state of the filament switch is
"sensed" or "not sensed" with the 0.050" Allen wrench in place. See
sample Sensor States menu.
