X-Axis Guide Rod/Pillow Block Bearing Removal

Tools and Materials Required
• 3/32-inch hex key
• 9/64-inch hex key
• 11/32-inch hex key
• 5/32-inch hex key
• 3/16-inch hex key
• 9/64-inch hex key
Procedure
1.
Unload material from the system.
2.
Power down the system. (See

Remove the top panels from the system. (See

Remove the upper left and upper right side panels. (See
5.
Disconnect electrical connectors to left hand side exhaust fans by pulling on the
connector.
6.
Loosen, but do not remove, the 3 screws that hold the left side fan bank to the system
frame using a 5/32-inch hex key.
