Oven Thermocouple Removal

Tools and Materials Required
• T-10 Torx wrench
• Wire cutter
• 11/32-inch hex key
Procedure
1.
Lower the Z stage to the bottom of its travel (Operator control > Move Head/Stage and
the select Move Z Stage to Bottom).
2.
Power down the system. (See

Remove the lower and middle back panel and the upper left side panel. (See

4.
Disconnect the thermocouple wire from the MIO board.
5.
Cut and remove the cable ties that secure thermocouple wiring.
6.
Remove the cable clamp securing the thermocouple wiring to the underside of the upper
left Z stage end plate.
7.
Remove the four nuts from the left side of the X-Axis Bellows. Slide the bellows to the
right to expose the thermocouple.
8.
Remove the two thermocouple mounting screws (T-10 Torx wrench).
9.
Remove the thermocouple/thermocouple wiring from the system by pulling the wire
and plug into the oven through the oven Z stage seals.
