Oven Door Window Installation

Tools and Materials Required
• Set of basic service tools.
Procedure
Make sure inside faces of glass panels are clean before assembly. Use
care so as to not get inside faces dirty during assembly.
For Vantage: Install Outer Glass Panel
1.
Close the oven door.
2.
Carefully place the outer glass panel onto the lower glass support clamps.
3.
Align the hook-and-lock strips and press the glass panel into place against door.
Caution: Support the front of glass while installing the upper clamp.
4.
Open the oven door.
5.
Install the upper, outer-glass clamp - install and tighten the upper, outer-glass clamp
screw.
For Titan: Install Inner Glass Panel
Caution: The inner-door glass is tempered on only one side. The door
glass must be assembled with the tempered side toward the oven.

Place the inner door glass in the door with the tempered side up - facing the oven when
installed.
• The door will be resting on its outer, curved surface. Support the sides of

Position the glass frame around the glass panel - align the mounting holes.
3.
Install (do not tighten) the glass frame screws. Tighten the frame screws after all of the
frame screws have been partially threaded into door.
4.
Position the 4 door panels around the edge of the door.
5.
Install (do not tighten) the outer frame screws - except the one for the ground strap
(upper right corner).
6.
Install (do not tighten) the inner frame screws (hex head).
7.
Tighten the outer and inner frame screws.
8.
Install the door latch assembly.
