XY Gantry Belt Tension

Tools and Materials Required
• Belt tension gauge
Procedure
1.
Make sure the oven temperature has stabilized for the current material. (See
page 2-16.)
2.
Open the top cover of the system.
3.
Zero the belt tension gauge. (See

Carefully position the head at the left front corner of the XY gantry. (See
page 6-24.)
5.
Place the gauge on the X belt midway between the two front X-axis pulleys. (See
16 on page 6-24.)
• Tension fixture pins must be on the smooth back side of belt, plunger must
