Lubricate Z Stage

Tools and Materials Required
• Basic service tools
• Krytox grease (PN 201681-XXXX included in PM kit)
• Super Lube (included in PM kit)
Procedure
Warning: Wear proper protective gear when handling Krytox or
Super Lube grease. Avoid inhalation, ingestion, skin contact, and eye
contact. Wash hands thoroughly after use.
Caution: Super Lube is only used for lubrication of the Z stage lead
screws. Krytox grease is used for all other Z stage and gantry
lubrication.

Open the top and side panels. (See

Move the Z stage to the bottom of travel.
3.
Lubricate the Z Stage Lead Screws with Super Lube.

Use a clean dry towel to remove old grease from the left and right
side Z stage lead screws.
Apply a bead of Super Lube to each Z lead screw.
Cycle the Z axis up and down several times to distribute the
lubricant.
