Tip Clean Position / Purge Location

Prerequisite Procedures
1.
System must be on.

Lower the Z stage to the bottom of its travel.

Install model and support tips. (See

For Titan/Vantage: Make sure the oven door is closed.
Procedure
Clean/purge location is set using the model tip as a reference.
Support tip clean/purge location is set automatically after aligning
the model tip. The model tip is aligned to the clean/purge location in
the X and Y-axis.

Move the head to the current clean location.

Compare the head position to the clean location requirements.

There are two system configurations (Teflon Purge Ledge and NO
Purge Ledge) for tip cleaning. Choose the location requirements
appropriate for the configuration of the system being worked.
For systems with the Teflon Purge Ledge:
