Oven Heaters Installation

Tools and Materials Required
• T-15 Torx wrench
• T-25 Torx wrench
• 1/8-inch hex key
• 7/16-inch open end wrench
• Phillips screwdriver
Procedure
1.
Place the new heater(s) in position and attach using two screws.
2.
Connect the electrical wiring to the new heater(s).
3.
Remove the two screws using a (5/32-inch hex key) from the AC cover and carefully
slide the AC cover out of the system.
4.
Check the resistance at the heater plugs on the AC board. The resistance should be
approximately 33 ohms.
5.
Reinstall the AC cover and fasten with 2 screws using a 5/32-inch hex key.
6.
Maneuver the oven heater assembly into place so the top of the assembly is under the
oven duct screen.
7.
Attach the oven heater assembly to the chassis of the system using six mounting screws
(T-25 Torx wrench). The two bottom mounting screws be installed when the platen is
raised.
8.
Install 2 screws attaching the oven duct screen.
9.
Place the purge mounting bracket assembly in position and attach with two mounting
nuts (7/16-inch wrench).
10.
Install the waste chute funnel and attach with the mounting nut (7/16 wrench).
11.
Raise the platen to the upper position.
12.
Install the two bottom heater assembly screws (T-25 Torx wrench) to the chassis of the
system.
13.
Using three screws (1/8-inch hex key), attach the waste chute funnel to the bottom of the
oven.
14.
Position the heater wiring in the wiring harness clamp and then tighten the two screws
(Phillips screwdriver). Make sure not to pinch the wiring.
15.
Using one nut (7-16-inch wrench), attach the heater cable clamp to the oven.
